"Where the heck is my mind lately?" / "A donde "jocara" esta mi cabeza ultimamente?"
I went to bed with fever last night thinking I needed to wake up on time for Shabbat but I still took a "Tylenol PM" pill.
I woke up around 1pm thinking I really needed to rush cause Shabbat would have started pretty early today. My "Shutaf" was at the apartment so I asked him if he was going to stay for Shabbat. So I started to cook "schnitzel" with two different salads, humus and green olives. I went to the a mini-market close to the place I live to find out they didn't have Challah. I was surprised! How would they not have Challah for Shabbat? So I bought to mini-Challahs.
I came back to the apartment and on the way back I met with few people and I even greet them with: "Shabbat Shalom". I finished with the cooking, although I was not feeling any better.
I took a shower, got ready and as I was setting up the table my cell phone rang. My Hebrew teacher asking me if I were going to show up to the class cause she was waiting for me. Then I realized it wasn't Shabbat at all, it was actually Thursday.
So I'm asking: "Where the heck is my mind lately?" Well, after I realized that I'm not that bad at cooking... At least I've learnt something.
